Helen Howie is a Healing Practitioner and Teacher who has been awakening to her journey for around 15 years and working with healing energies since 1999.

Helen’s personal journey over the past 15 years includes Usui Reiki Master Teacher, Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, Kinesiologist, Isis Healer, Angelic Reiki Practitioner and Angel Healing ® Teacher and her path continues to unfold and expand around how she can best learn, teach and support herself and others on our journey to wholeness and remaining awake to all that we are.

She specialises in energy therapies and healing and she has trained in a number of powerful healing energies and modalities since 1999. She also increasingly integrates to her deep connection to shamanic work and brings this to her practises.

Helen offers a programme of workshops in Reiki, energy healing and many other aspects of personal and spiritual development, as well as individual consultations. She also leads events and retreats in Andalucia, Southern Spain.

Helen's interest in a more holistic approach to health and development emerged following a period where she was very ill for a number of years with M.E. (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). She eventually consulted a kinesiologist and ultimately, with the support of a range of holistic approaches, made a complete recovery from illness. She then went on to work increasingly with holistic therapies and develop her interest in personal growth, energy work and spiritual development. As a mother now of five, Helen embodies these experiences in all she does.

Helen began training in kinesiology early in 1999 with Claire Tomlins, a leading exponent of "Three in One" kinesiology and Principal of  Harmony Kinesiology College. She became fully qualified as a professional kinesiologist in 2001. Helen began her Reiki learning in 1999, qualifying as a Reiki Master Teacher in 2006 with Reiki Master Lorna Maclean and as a Karuna Master Teacher in 2007 with Reiki Grand Master Elizabeth Harley. She has been running successful Reiki workshops since 2007, integrating her passions for Reiki, energy work and learning.
 
In addition to her training in energy-based therapies, Helen draws on her experience and skills in a range of areas such as stress management and adult learning. She has undertaken numerous courses and workshops and views her ongoing personal and professional development as central to her integrity as a practitioner. Helen has further undertaken many trainings,  including qualfying as an Angel Healing® Teacher , shamanism, breathwork, Lemurian Healing, Angelic Reiki Practioner, Isis Healing, EFT, Quantum Touch and is qualified in Indian Head Massage. She has been a student with Emaho since 2008.

In addition to her private practice, Helen worked as a therapist with a community stress centre for seven and a half years. She is passionate about supporting each of us as individuals in achieving our goals, whatever they may be and particularly loves working with people pursuing their spiritual unfolding.

Helen presently lives and practises in Scotland, in the Lanarkshire area, easily accessible from the central belt of Scotland. She offers clinics several days a week from Wheredragonsfly Therapies, a wonderful holistic therapy centre in the heart of Straven and from her home.
